Orthodontic wax, or brace wax is designed to help ease the discomfort the some orthodontic patients suffer. Brace wax is used to relieve the discomfort cause by wires or brackets rubbing against the patients gums. To apply orthodontic wax simply tear a small piece off from the strips and gently rub into a ball, then place onto the area that is irritating your mouth.
